Description

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SOC1 Assessment with extensive experience in executing SOC audits end-to-end. This role will require deep knowledge and understanding of Service Organization Control (SOC) audit procedures and compliance requirements. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and support throughout the SOC1 assessment process to ensure its completion by the stipulated deadline.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the complete SOC1 assessment process.

Develop and implement strategies for SOC compliance.

Perform SOC audits and identify control gaps based on the review of company's operations and systems.

Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders relating to SOC1 assessments.

Provide training and guidance to staff on SOC standards and protocols.

Liaise and coordinate with external auditors, providing all necessary support during their audit process.

Continually review and update company processes and policies to ensure compliance enhancements.

Ensure timely completion of SOC1 assessment well within the defined deadlines.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree or certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CPA would be considered a plus.

Extensive knowledge of SOC1/SSAE 18 standards.

Proven experience in executing SOC audits and preparing audit reports.

Familiarity with IT control frameworks.

Understanding of data privacy and protection regulations.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Proficiency in risk assessment, conflict resolution, and adaptability.
