  (Job Description)

  Globally recognized Food & Beverage Company located in Seattle, WA is currently hiring for a hybrid schedule Commercial Development Sr. Analyst. This Commercial Development Sr. Analyst position contributes to the company's success by leveraging customer POS, shipment and forecasting data to develop strategies with commercial development director and managers in support of several coffee brands. The Commercial Development team serves as the conduit between Marketing, Operations, Forecasting teams and the Consumer Product Goods (CPG) Customer teams. This position translates multiple sources of data and information into business opportunities and executable plans while serving as the voice of the CPG customer into the category.

  Pay - $35/hr. - $45/hr. (depending on relevant industry experiences and qualifications)

  Location - Seattle, WA (Tuesday - Thursday onsite, Monday and Friday remote)

  Contract Duration - 9 Months Contract to start

  (Summary of Key Responsibilities)

  Lead respective business as a priority within the company's Go-To-Market strategy to achieve all Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Sales Fundamental objectives.

  Drive sales/customer needs to marketing and translate category-marketing plans into CPG plans that build brand equity and grow market share.

  Develop and deploy clear communication and cohesive business plans to CPG/3rd party retail partner teams.

  Lead customer forecast process and ensure the supply plan is sufficient to meet customer needs.

  Champion business building ideas based on customer and customer team communications and market/customer analyses.

  Lead ongoing business updates and reporting with cross-functional partners designed to drive business goals.

  Ensure Go-To-Market plans, materials, and approach aligns with the company and the overall brand strategy.

  Understand the key business drivers at each Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer to identify opportunities for growth.

  Responsible for development and management of the CPG Go-To-Market plan for his/her respective brand to ensure sufficiency to deliver CPG corporate goals.

  Integrates the work of company categories, marketing and sales planning to deliver cohesive aligned programs.

  Exhibit strong business acumen and financial discipline when constructing and selling ideas and solutions.

  Educate multi-functional business partners on requirements of CPG customers

  Lead key inputs and collaboration with field sales, as well as demand planning regarding Distribution opportunities, tracking and results to deliver AOP.

  (Qualification Requirements)

  CONSIDERING LOCAL APPLICANTS WHO ARE CURRENTLY RESIDING IN WASHINGTON STATE AS WE'RE UNABLE TO SUPPORT RELOCATION AT THIS TIME

  4+ years of experience in a role performing sales planning job functions.

  Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

  Experience calling on a CPG retailer with responsibilities including new item presentations, promotional presentations, seasonal presentations, strategic collaborative planning presentations, etc.

  2+ year’s analytical experience with consumption/POS and/or shipment data with major CPG customers across multiple categories and at multiple levels with a CPG manufacturer and/or a CPG customer.

  2+ years experience: leveraging multi-functional resources, selling a product, managing a category, or building sales marketing plans within a global CPG company.

  2+ year’s experience executing product strategy and sales plans with a CPG company.

  Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities.

  Ability to successfully track and analyze business with very strong excel skills and analytical capabilities that can enable critical decision-making.

  Ability to build diverse, collaborative relationships.

  Ability to align strategy, leverage multi-functional resources, and shopper marketing analytics.

  Understands the CPG industry and how the Sales Planning role enables the sales teams to sell.

  Possesses some Financial Acumen, ability to negotiate and reach win/win agreements.

  Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results..

  Compensation is tied to the Colorado and Washington markets for jobs performed in Colorado and Washington. Other locations may be subject to variances based on location-related factors.
