  We are looking for an experienced Commercial Banker in Fresno, CA. This role focuses on acquiring and servicing C&I commercial loans, commercial real estate loans and bank services in accordance with individually established business development goals.

  Essential Functions:

  Acquires, manages, and services companies with revenues between $20-200MM (in general) seeking commercial loans, commercial real estate loans, bank and PWM-based services in accordance with individually established business development goals.

  Strong business development, interpersonal communication, internal and external relationship focused.

  Achieves annual Managed Portfolio Growth goals.

  Demonstrates clear understanding of risk management and covenant tracking procedures.

  Responsible to make presentations regarding bank products and services to prospective clients and company principals, perform underwriting functions and continually monitor credit quality.

  Ideal candidates are initiative-taking and seek an environment where strategic collaboration is desired.

  Other standard Middle Market practices or duties as assigned.

  Qualifications:

  Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, marketing or a related field.

  Consideration given to 5+ years work history in a commensurate Middle Market Relationship Manager role.

  Must have at least 5+ years Middle market lending and business development expertise.

  Strong credit underwriting skill set, needs to know how to take a deal from beginning to end.

  Knowledge of bank products and commercial lending techniques and procedures.

  Ability to expand loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products.

  Familiarity of the sales, loan processing and closing processes.

  Strong underwriting skills in C&I and CRE ideal.

  Ability to interview loan applicants and have good perceptive on character judgment.

  Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.

  Working knowledge of software applications, including MIS, word processing and spreadsheets.
