Job Description
• Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).
• Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory.
• Works to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory.
• Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.
• Territory may be combination of geographic, product, industry and other customer / market dimensions.
• Sells to the territory directly or via partners.
• Utilizes inbound and/or outbound techniques to identify, qualify and close new opportunities.
• Manages accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborates with team members in
• business development, consulting and support to uncover all customer needs.
• Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues to develop
• solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application.
• Travels to customer sites to identify / develop sales opportunities.
• Participates in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition.
• Onsite customer presentation with C-levels to negotiate and close strategic and complex deals.
• Liaises with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities and maximizing sales.
• Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.
Responsibilities
Main Duties
• Selling Cloud Infrastructure to enterprises customers across all industries
• Constantly building pipeline and managing the whole sales cycle from business development and prospecting to value presentation until final deal closure
• Accurate forecasting of stages and sizing of deals
• Selling to key contacts within the customer organization from technical contacts up to the economic decision makers
• Leveraging all other stakeholders within Oracle who can influence the buying decision.
• Developing solutions for customer problems within Oracle’s processes and policies and getting approval for these.
• Gather detailed customer Business requirements and map it to corresponding IT solutions offered by Oracle.
• Collaborate with the solution architect on documenting the solution design and fit/gap analysis.
• Identify inefficiencies in current IT set-up and suggest solutions to help in fulfilling the gaps.
• Present Oracle Cloud Platform solutions to prospective customers based on detailed requirements to highlight broad Oracle solution areas with emphasis on key differentiators.
• Develop detailed Project Close Plans considering resources required, and cost involved based on agreed milestones working with various Business and IT stakeholders.
• Develop and advise on use cases for Oracle Cloud subscription customers to ensure service consumption.
• Be the go-to person managing communication between Business and Technical teams and make sure project is a success.
Qualifications & Skills Requirement
• 10 years of selling Cloud and software license to large enterprises utilizing Strategic Selling or other similar selling methodology
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to penetrate the account and build relationships with and sell to C levels.
• Excellent understanding of open-source software selling, security policy/requirements, software license management of enterprise and government agency customers.
• Experience in handling software license compliance is a bonus.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quota is required.
• Hunter spirit, highly motivated self-starter and problem-solver
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must
• Travel maybe needed
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
