Description We are in search of a Collections Specialist to join our team in Pompano Beach, Florida. The role will focus primarily on B2B and B2C collections and payment posting, requiring a high level of accuracy and independence. The Collections Specialist will also be tasked with handling customer inquiries and managing an array of customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Process and post B2B and B2C payments.

• Handle customer inquiries and follow up on payments.

• Update and maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Manage credit card declines and recurring payments.

• Obtain new credit card information from customers for payment processing.

• Ensure accurate data entry of payment information.

• Assist in monitoring AR outbox.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and manage data.

• Adapt to industry-specific Trux software (training will be provided).

• Conduct collections in a friendly yet effective manner. Requirements • Proficiency in B2B collections is mandatory.

• Demonstrable experience in using Microsoft Excel is required.

• Must be detail-oriented, displaying high levels of accuracy in work.

• Strong problem-solving skills are essential.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills are necessary.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial guidelines and regulations.

• Solid understanding of billing and financial concepts.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

• Must have a customer service oriented approach.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent education level is required; further education in finance or related field will be a plus.
