The Opportunity
As a Collateral Treasury Analyst within Group Treasury, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and optimization of our collateral management processes. You will be responsible for capturing business requirements, operational processes, and contributing to the overall enhancement of our collateral management business.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform monthly collateral balance reconciliations and investigate variancesReview and track investment management authorities (IMAs) requirementsProvide oversight over non-Bermuda Divisional CollateralSupport strategic transactions and initiatives for QBE (e.g. LPTs)Manage various collateral contractsLiaise with investment, risk, compliance, accounting, treasury, and audit teamsAssist with instructing and approving wire transfers and creating bank lettersAssist with counterparty relationshipsReport and analyze collateral activity for various audiencesParticipate in collateral project workAnalyze existing collateral management operations and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and complianceKeep abreast of regulatory changes that impact collateral management for compliance with relevant laws and regulationsAssist in establishing and implementing new collateral processes
Required Education
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced qualifications or certifications in business analysis are a plus)
Required Experience
A minimum of 1-3 years of business analysis experience within an investment bank or financial services environment

* Experience in a business treasury function
* Collateral management experience
* Insurance backgroundPreferred Knowledge
* Working knowledge of treasury department functions and best practices
Applied working knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Basic knowledge of bank products and services

Base pay offered will vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location and business needs
