Mechanical Installer, Pay: $24/hr., 4 month contract

Job Description

We are seeking candidates who are mechanically inclined, have experience working with hand and power tools, and possess some installation experience with machinery or robotics. The role involves installing 20 robotic arms, approximately 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing. Tasks will range from using power tools, pushing a broom, running materials up the elevator using a pallet jack, to assisting project teams by commissioning, cleaning the warehouse, and building robotic arms and stations.

Responsibilities

Install robotic arms, sub-stations, and internal site fencing.

Utilize pallet jacks to move, strap, and catalogue materials.

Use hand and air-powered tools to commission towers according to diagrams.

Follow step-by-step instructions for installation tasks.

Run wiring for power supplies.

Handle general installation labor including moderate to heavy lifting.

Perform material handling and general labor tasks such as construction, loading, packaging, and cleaning.

Read and interpret blueprints, installation schematics, and other technical documents.

Essential Skills

Experience with hand and power tools.

Previous installation experience with machinery or robotics.

Ability to lift 40-50 lbs consistently.

Capability to work 8 hours a day on hard cement floors.

Good attendance record.

Ability to take direction well.

Willingness to work in multiple positions, from inventory to housekeeping.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
