　　The Impact You'll Make in this Role

　　As a Coater Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

　　Subject Matter Expert on setup, running, and maintenance of coater processesPerform maintenance on chemical, electronic, industrial, hydraulics, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.Perform basic preventative maintenance (PM's) duties.Assist with calibrations of process equipment.Assist in monitoring and analysis of a variety of day-to-day production issues.Conduct basic troubleshooting of chemical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.Identify improvement opportunities and initiate implementation.Use current documentation and problem-solving techniques to lead operators in the analysis of potential failures.Perform operator duties as required.Responsible for assuring process documentation is current and utilized at all times.Participate in continuous training.Follow safety guidelines.Your Skills and Expertise

　　To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

　　1-2 years of relevant industrial maintenance /electronic/electrical experience OR possess a 2-4-year technical degree in maintenance related technology OR 1-year recent vapor coating experience completed prior to start.Ability to work overtime, weekend, and holidays as neededAbility to work full-time, overnight 12-hour rotating shift (7:30pm - 7:30am, weekly schedule is 2 days working one week and 4 days working the next week, working every other weekend)Work location: Onsite - 5400 Paris Rd, Columbia, MO 65202
