Job Summary:
A CNC Operator sets up and operates metal-cutting machinery to build needed parts of various projects. Their duties include studying blueprints and creating the design, cutting metal and manipulating it to build the project, and performing regular maintenance on their machinery.
*Key Responsibilities: *
Loading and unloading raw materials and parts into CNC machineAdjusting/offsetting Haas, Mori Seiki, CNC lathes and millsExamine complete workpieces for defects.Measure complete workpieces to verify conformance.Using gauges and measuring devicesReading blueprints; familiar with G codesComfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and dust particles.Maintain a clean work area.*Minimum Requirements: *
6 months or more of CNC Operation in a manufacturing setting or enrollment/completion of CNC Certification from a technical school.
