Our client, a leader in their manufacturing industry, is looking to add multiple machinists to their operations. They have

　　openings on 2nd or 3rd shift with the operation of running multiple machines. We are looking for individuals who have experience operating CNC Grinding machines. These positions are long term/permanent job openings due to increases in business.

　　Description:

　　Multi-Axis CNC Grinding Set Up person will need a minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in the set-up and operation of a multi-axis grinding machines such as Combi or Haas. Daily responsibilities will include:

　　Set up and operate multi-axis CNC carbide grinding machine, Manipulation of piece part program through variable inputs, manufacture “specials” type product to detailed print specifications, run multiple machines at same time with minimal supervision, need close attention to meeting routed cycle times, consistent quality assurance monitoring supported through daily log inputs, and be able to utilize both basic and modern inspection equipment.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Will consider other multi-axis metal removal machine experience in combination with formal technical training on CNC grinding machines and/or techniques

　　Must be able to read precision measuring instruments

　　Strong math skills

　　Programming experience a plus but not necessary

　　Intermediate Level
