　　We values our incredible Certified Nursing Assistants and want to ensure they practice at top of their license to better optimize their skills and experience. We’ve also developed a career path framework for CNAs that clarifies paths to move, develop and advance CNA careers into nursing and other roles. The Certified Nursing Assistants provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.

　　Scheduled: 4 shifts per week, 6:00 PM-10:00 PM

　　Qualifications:

　　In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

　　Six months previous CNA experience preferred

　　Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

　　Basic computer skills

　　Previous customer service experience preferred

　　High School diploma or GED required

　　Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required

　　State registered CNA license required

　　Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds

　　Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

　　The Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility department at Holy Cross Hospital – Jordan Valley is a 10-bed unit with a dedicated focus on providing intensive rehabilitation services to maximize return to independence and function at home and in the community. Our team has a lot of experience and receives substantial support from therapy partners for patient care. We are all dedicated to our practice, have a strong interest in rehab medicine and we seek candidates share our passion to see success and improvements in patients. The unit offers Nursing services, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, daily checks from Physicians & Psychiatrists, and consult services from wound care, nutrition, and integrative healing specialists. We strive to provide care to our patients as if they were our own family members.

　　Our patient population are adults who come to this us through a qualification process to be accepted into the program. We do not get overflow from other departments. Patients in our care are recovering from many typical and non-typical rehabilitation diagnoses including stroke, traumatic & non-traumatic spinal cord injury, major multiple traumas including multiple injured extremities, hip fractures, traumatic & non-trauma brain dysfunction, neurological impairments such as Parkinson’s Disease & Multiple Sclerosis, and significant deconditioning following a complicated medical hospitalization.
