　　The Certified Nurse Assistant provides basic nursing care to patients, transports patients within the hospital, and monitors a safe and clean environment in order to assist nursing and medical personnel in the routine care of patients and the organization of the nursing unit taking into account the individual patient's age-specific needs. Work is performed under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with established hospital standards, nursing department structure, process and outcome standards, established regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the hospital and the assigned nursing department taking into account the individual patient's special physical or age-related needs.

　　The CNA:- Bathes and assists patients with personal hygiene.

　　- Takes and records patients' temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate and blood pressure under clinical guidance of Registered Professional Nurse.

　　- Cleans, prepares and stores equipment trays and other supplies.

　　- Serves and collects patient food trays and provides in-between meal nourishments- Processes patients' personal laundry.

　　Qualifications Include:

　　- High School Diploma or equivalent required.- NYS Certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

　　Status: All shifts, Part time, Full time, casual (varied)

　　Pay Rate: $18.46 per hour
