The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft, and the mission is to build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services and devices with partners, empowering people, and organizations to achieve more.
As a Cloud Solution Architect in this role, you will focus on the development of skills, solution building and Co-Selling with the Microsoft Partner Network. Your work will focus on partners in the telecommunications industry to build new solutions based on Microsoft Teams calling services and assist with Co-Selling, as well as presentation skills and technical skills and the ability to work comfortably with senior executives. The work location is flexible, including 100% home office based.

Partner Enablement and Execution:
Enablement Execution: Lead and/or contribute to the delivery of workshops, bootcamps, and trainings necessary to build partners’ technical skills
Technical Engagement: Lead deep technical engagements, including; Briefings, Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions, and Hackathons
Best Practice Sharing: Collaborate with Microsoft’s Engineering teams to generate technical insight and enable best practices sharing
Solution Development: Aid partners to develop and implement high quality solutions and/or services leveraging Microsoft’s latest technologies
Evangelism: Evangelize partners’ practices and solutions in customers’ implementations via Technical briefings and Architecture Review Sessions
Tech Sales:

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
OR equivalent experience.
Business level fluency to read, write and speak Portuguese and/or Spanish
Understanding of telecommunications industry
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales, technology solutions/practice development, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications required
Experience building deep technical sales relationships with stakeholders and practice building executives in the Partner Ecosystem.
Experience resolving Partner problems and unblock technical issues, leveraging internal and/or external resources.
Experience with Microsoft Partner teams ranging from deep level architects to discussions with executive teams.
Experience effectively presenting complex information to live audiences in-person or webinar.
Experience working in the Partner ecosystem
Understanding of Microsoft 365 products and knowledge of market business environment
Certification in one of the following technologies preferred: Cloud, mobile, SharePoint application development, Microsoft 365, and/or Microsoft Teams.
Understanding of Microsoft Teamscalling and meeting capabilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Teams hardware and software partner ecosystem
Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.
