You will develop processes, and build standardization to forecast capacity for all the Splunk cloud consumption across the Cloud Service Providers by working with the cross-functional teams and their management.

  Capacity Management

Work closely with Cloud Service Providers to manage the reservation of cloud resources, such as virtual machines to ensure availability for both day-to-day business operations and for peak periods.

Create and maintain documentation of capacity reservations, metrics, and cost optimization efforts.

Create documentation for processes, training, and operational support.

  Requirements:

Good interpersonal communication, both written and verbal, skills, including bridging communication between vendors and internal teams - Engineering, product, and information technology communities.

Proven experience in driving large and small-scale programs that span the organization to completion.

Ability to conduct process analysis, documentation, and improvement on cloud computing environments.

Solid understanding of Cloud Service Providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their offerings.

Excellent analytical skills and detail-oriented approach with the ability to identify process gaps, and propose effective solutions while maintaining high accuracy in documentation.

Prior experience with large vendor portfolios is advantageous.

  Education: Got it!

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Relevant certifications for process and/or operational improvement (e.g.: Six Sigma)

Relevant certifications that showcase experience with CSPs (e.g.: AWS, Azure, GCP)

What We Offer You: Wow, I want that.

A constant stream of new things for you to learn. We're always expanding into new areas and onboarding new vendors.

A set of extraordinarily hardworking, innovative, open, fun, and dedicated peers, all the way from engineering, operations, IT, and QA to product management and customer support.
