General Statement of Duties:The Deposit Operations Specialist is responsible for performing one or more of the following functions performed within the Deposit Services department.

　　Major Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Daily processing and proof of mail deposits. Processes all mail, and CD transactions. Verifies customer signatures where applicable. Prepares and processes appropriate general ledger entries.2.CD maturity notice processing.3.Processes daily monetary transactions submitted by Business Banking, CRE, RMU, and Government Banking.4.Assists, when necessary, with dormant account processing and Abandoned Property maintenance.5.Photocopy research requests. Provides photocopies of statements, paid items and any other items requested by branch personnel, customers and/or other departments.6.Safe Deposit functions: Collects and processes customer's payments.7.Processes Lease Security, withdrawals and deposits. 8.Scanning of daily work.9.Filing of daily work and retrieval of closed files. Record retention of department's files and shreds records according to record retention schedule. 10.General spreadsheet maintenance including the use of excel to track department volumes. 11.Use mail merge function of word to prepare customer mailings and also to finalize all outgoing postal mail.12.Processes customer account maintenance on Bank's mainframe.13.Assist with answering phone calls and ensuring calls are directed to the proper parties.14.Assists in other duties as assigned.

　　Minimum Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*1 year Teller experience or experience in related areas.*High School Graduate.*General knowledge of banking terms and practices preferred.*General understanding of bank general ledger entries, debits and credits.*Intermediate skills in MS Office Word and Excel.*Shows initiative and a willingness to learn.*Must be able to multi-task.*Ability to collaborate with other business units within the bank.*Miser BA experience preferred.*Good oral and written communication skills.*Ability to lift boxes.
