We are a niche technology brand business and design and developspecialist water purification equipment and services for the lifescience, research, healthcare and diagnostic markets.

  Job Summary:

  The ELGA North America Sales and Business Development Director isresponsible for leading and managing all sales and business developmentactivities within the company.\This role requires a deep understanding of laboratory equipment andwater purification systems, strong leadership skills, and a proven trackrecord in driving revenue growth and expanding business opportunities inthe scientific and research sectors.

  The Sales and Business Development Director manages a team of SalesManagers and Sales Representatives, to develop and execute effectivesales strategies, hunt for new opportunities, build and maintainrelationships with key accounts, and maximise business growth.

  Responsibilities:

  Develop and implement the overall sales and business developmentstrategy in alignment with the company\'s goals and objectives.

  Lead and manage the sales team, providing coaching, guidance to ensurethe achievement of sales objectives.

  Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in targetedmarkets and sectors, such as pharmaceutical companies, biotechnologyfirms, academic institutions, large hospitals groups, key architects andengineering firms.

  Work hands in hands with the marketing team to develop effective salescollateral, promotional materials, and campaigns tailored to the labwater market.

  Monitor and analyse sales data and metrics to track performance, andidentify areas for improvement.

  Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapewithin the lab water market to identify new business opportunities andstay ahead of market changes.

  Identify and participate in industry events, trade shows, conferences,and networking opportunities to enhance the company\'s visibility andgenerate leads within the lab water market.

  Qualifications

  Bachelor\'s degree in a scientific discipline, such as Chemistry,Biology, or Engineerin g.

  Proven track record of at least 7-10 years of experience in sales andbusiness development, specifically within the laboratory equipment andwater purification industry.

  Strong understanding of laboratory water purification, includingknowledge of different technologies and applications.

  Excellent leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated abilityto motivate and inspire a highly performing sales team.

  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintainrelationships with clients.

  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-drivenapproach to decision-making.

  Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively

  Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in afast-paced environment.

  Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

  Proficient in using Salesforce and Google Sheets (or Excel equivalent)
