Location: Newburgh, NY
Hours: M-F 930 am to 6 pm
Salary: $80,000 plus $5,000 Sign On Bonus
OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES :
This position will oversee operations of all of the Urgent Care in Orange County. This position will also have a direct role in the development of service offerings, including increase in the provision of Medication Assisted Treatment for Substance Use Disorders, the development of 24/7 coverage for acute services, and the development of a full complement of Article 31 services to Orange County residents.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS :
Schedule and implement coverage of above multiple teams.
Provide clinical supervision to staff.
Provide administrative supervision.
Provide clinical backup as needed.
Report on activities to government and grant funders.
Report internally on Key Performance Indicators.
Conduct daily clinical and performance huddles with staff.
Develop daily and weekly management systems as needed to address gaps in performance.
Develop programs and staff in a fast-growing organization.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONAL / ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT:
Supports Security Officer with information gathering, investigations, recommendations and mitigation strategies.
Supports Quality Assurance Efforts, including incident reporting.
Maintains CARF and OMH, and other standards.
Participates in agency-wide initiatives, based on need an affinity, such as DEI efforts, electronic charting configuration efforts, clinical training initiatives, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES :
Strong organization skills with accurate attention to detail
Proven ability to lead and grow programs
Proven ability to develop staff
Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi- task
Hands-on experience with EHR administration
Able to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
Sufficient skills to communicate effectively with system users regarding technical and business issues
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
PHD or LCSW Preferred
Master’s degree in behavioral health field plus independent licensure required
Five years of progressive management responsibility in clinical programs preferred
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS :
Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long-periods of time
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Able to work in open space floor plan
Must be capable to move throughout work day and follow people served throughout community
Work alongside co-workers within 6 feet
Must be able to move in tight spaces
Occasional lifting of > _25+pounds
