Job Description Summary
The Clinical Resource Consultant is a position in the BD MDS GSA Medical Affairs organisation and is responsible for implementing customer-focused solutions, building relationships with decision makers, for HCP consulting & clinical
support, education & training for HCP in order to support the business goals.
The Clinical Resource Consultant coordinates customer projects with the Customer Facing Team (CFT) and develops services in the area of customer-specific solutions and process optimization. Moreover, the Clinical Resource
Consultant MDS (m/f/d) also conducts product and customer trainings, actively participates in information events,
exhibitions and workshops and drives and supports signature solutions℠ program.
In cooperation with the Medical Manager, “he/she/they” will actively take part of scientific exchange with HCP, identify business evidence needs, will identify and share market insights and will be actively cooperate with Decision Makers in
the own region.
They are responsible for completing this in accordance with local and corporate medical standards and expectations.

About the role
Delivery of product & educational trainings.
Conducts product and customer training on the wards for the purpose of advertising and to support HCP when introducing new products, as well as actively participating in and conducting information events, exhibitions and workshops.
Is responsible for the identification, of BD MDS Medical Services in the own region. Including the set-up, execution of service solutions and sharing reports with HCP.
Executes planned and ad-hoc medical & clinical support to HCP in support of the business strategies
Defines and coordinates customer projects in close cooperation with the sales management and sales, according to the agreed marketing and ales.
Is responsible for knowing the current national and relevant international guidelines for MDS Portfolio.
About you
Fluent in German & good in English
Clinical expertise in the field of Vascular Access Management or Infection Prevention or Medical Oncology and willingness to share knowledge in a compelling manner
Demonstrates an excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant clinical practice
Problem solving: Demonstrating the ability to take a broad perspective that allows strategic evaluation of problems, facilitating development of multiple solutions.
Understand how to present to larger groups and moderate discussions.
Has a high level of self-motivation, self-confidence, critical faculties, and a positive attitude.
Has a strong team spirit and is willing to share successes with colleagues.
Strong networking and relationship and management skills, as well emotional intelligence.
Knowledge & Experience
Certified as a Nurse with not less than three years experience in hospital, ideally specialist in intensive care/anesthesia, oncology or hygiene. A Bachelor Degree in Scientific Disciplines is a plus.
2 + years of experience in medical/clinical roles and/or Medical Companies.
Knowledge of PC's and common EDP programs (MS Office). Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools
Travel: 80% travel, including overnight stays.
