Description Robert Half is in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Haulage field. As the Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of a company in the Haulage industry. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Orlando, Florida area and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position. In this dynamic department, there is an opportunity for career growth and quick advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk will match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

　　Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

　　Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

　　Provide customer service to internal business partners

　　Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

　　Conduct full-cycle A/P

　　Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

　　Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

　　Execute additional tasks as needed Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

　　Knowledge of Code Invoices

　　Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
