JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: Purpose Perform the day-to-dayadministrative activities of clinical research trial programs inDepartment of Pediatrics, Division of Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine andDivision of Asthma, Allergy, & Immunology. Contribute to researchdedicated to pediatric patients and families with Cystic Fibrosis,Asthma, Food Allergies, Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), and otherconditions. Provide support to the team to facilitate the achievement ofthe program\'s goals. Assist with recruiting, training, and supervisingstaff and managing the program budget. Primary Functions Recruit,screen, enroll and obtain consent from program participants. Conduct orcoordinate training for program participants. Coordinate researchprotocols including arranging necessary appointments and procedures,working collaboratively with other departments and institutions, andmaintaining contact with study participants. Collect, analyze, anddisseminate research data. Report program data and progress to studyinvestigators. Work with Principal Investigator to develop, implement,and maintain comprehensive databases and files related to the program\'sclinical research program and Quality Improvement initiatives. Identifyproblems or obstacles in the system/procedures related to implementationof the research protocols and communicate to the study investigators.Assure compliance with all relevant IRB and other regulatory agencyrequirements. Prepare IRB documents and reports. Evaluate and write ofresearch protocols in collaboration with the study investigator.Collaborate on the development of program materials includingeducational materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, andreports. Maintain program timeline including tracking deadlines forprogram components. Coordinate program outreach activities includingacting as a liaison with community organizations. Organize internal andexternal meetings, site visits, and special events. Monitor studyrelated budgets. Participate in the development of program resourcesthrough literature searches, contact with outside programs, and reviewof funding opportunities. Preferred Schedule: Full-time role withexpectations for coverage during core business hours and flexibilityrequired as necessary to accommodate clinical needs.
