Responsibilities The Cardiac Cath Lab/Electrophysiology Clinical Program Manager is primarily focused on clinical management, favorable impact on quality of care, and is responsible to oversee the total care of the Cardiac Cath and/or Electrophysiology patient. A variety of skills are used to educate, consult, and manage the cardiac cath and/or electrophysiology patient population and assist the patient/family, the patient care team, and physicians. Works collaboratively with the health care team including interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, anesthesiologists, and other physicians involved in the patient’s care, nurses, case management, and with departments affecting the care of the cardiac cath/electrophysiology patient. Acts as a clinical educator working with staff on cardiac cath and electrophysiology competencies, new procedures, and advanced practice skills. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent team building and problem-solving skills, and a strong ability to take initiative and drive improvement. Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range for the role is $99,665.00-$124,586.00 salaried. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity) Qualifications Minimum Education: Master’s Degree in Nurse Practitioner Program Minimum Experience: Three (3) years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting. Previous experience relevant to the area of clinical practice preferred. Required Certification/Registration: Licensed as a Professional Nurse by the State of New York. Must have or obtain National Board Certification in specialty or Critical Care. Current BLS required at hire or transfer until ACLS obtained. BLS renewal not required once ACLS is obtained. ACLS preferred upon hire or must be obtained within first 90 days of employment. Physical Requirements: Travel to multiple facilities is required. Working Conditions: Environmental Demands and Exposure to Hazards: Works in a clean, well- lighted, heated or ventilated facility. No routine exposure to hazards. Physical Demands: Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks.
