Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficientmaintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. Additionalresponsibilities include compiling payroll data and records forreporting. Assist in the month end and year end closing process. Thecreation of financial transactions includes posting information toaccounting journals or accounting software from such source documents asinvoices to customers, cash receipts, and supplier invoices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review AP invoices and check requests.
Sort and match invoices and check requests.
Set invoices up for payment.
Process check requests.
Prepare and process accounts payable checks.
Reconcile payments; Prepare analysis of accounts.
Resolve invoice discrepancies.
Maintain vendor files.
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
Produce monthly reports.
Assist in month end closing.
Use ADP timekeeping and payroll processing; prepare weekly, bi-weekly,and monthly reporting
Provide payroll support to Payroll Coordinator as required
Safeguard Company and individual employee financial information bymaintaining strict confidentiality.
Complete initial / recurrent training requirements in a timely manner.
Other duties may be assigned.
