　　Clinical Nutritionist I - Inpatient

　　Full-Time

　　Position Summary

　　Successful candidate will support the clinical nutrition team at Hospital for Special Surgery by providing comprehensive nutrition care to our patients including but not limited to adult/pediatric nutrition assessment and re-assessment, malnutrition identification and management, nutrition support administration, nutrition education, and discharge planning.

　　Responsibilities

　　Provide comprehensive nutrition care to inpatients according to medical condition and nutrition needs

　　Develop treatment plan to promote wound healing after surgery and maintenance

　　Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and communications

　　Provide nutrition education and counseling

　　Skills/Attributes required

　　Strong interpersonal skills, excellent customer service and ability to communicate with all team members to resolve problems

　　Ability to take initiative, work independently and efficiently

　　Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

　　Ability to handle heavy workload with good time management skills and efficiency

　　Experience with Epic and CBORD (Foodservice Suite) preferred

　　Qualifications

　　Required Credentials

　　Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD)

　　Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) in NYS

　　Masters degree preferred

　　USD $42.00/Hr.

　　Pay Range - Maximum

　　USD $42.00/Hr.
