We are seeking a Client Special Services OperationsSpecialist in our Milwaukee office to assist our family office team witha variety of accounting, reporting, and bookkeeping type services. Theideal candidate is a person with a strong financial background who ishighly organized and has the ability to prioritize appropriately in afast-paced environment. This position will prepare the right individualto learn from the ground up and take on additional duties over time.You\'ll be responsible for: Monitoring daily private equity activityincluding capital calls and distributions to resolve any issues Workingwith outside advisors and custodian to coordinate money movementtransactions related to capital calls and distributions Downloadingvarious documents from investor websites and filing or distributing tothe team as needed Monitoring daily cash activity and balances withinthe family office Updating investment reporting software (Addepar) withall private equity activity to include contribution and distributiontransactions and market value adjustments Performing back-officeaccounting functions for clients including reconciliations, bill andexpense payment and the creation of management reports and financialstatements Working with both inside and outside tax advisors to provideall annual K-1\'s and answer any follow up questions Serving as a backupon various operations functions within the Client Special Services teamLearning process and considerations applicable to each family Buildinginternal controls and policies to document procedures and streamlineday-to-day activities Maintaining internal tracking of investmentactivities You\'ll love this opportunity if you have: Bachelor\'s degreewith finance knowledge; some experience in an investment-related rolepreferred Outstanding attention to detail with a proven ability tomulti-task and meet tight deadlines Expert level Microsoft Excel skills,experience with QuickBooks and Addepar helpful Superior communicationand customer service skills with a strong ability to adapt to varioussituations High degree of trustworthiness and integrity, with theability to maintain strict confidentiality Strong analytical,quantitative, and problem-solving...
