TEKsystems is currently hiring for an international transportation company in the Richmond, VA area. This will be a long term career opportunity to grow with a reputable company and learn supply chain/logistics.

Shift: 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm (candidate preference)

Hybrid: 2-3 days per week in office

Pay: $19/hr

Start date: within 2-3 weeks

Job Description:

Responsible for answering incoming calls and email correspondence for the Car Carrier Import Customer Service department.

Ability to comprehend U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations and ensure company is compliant with the regulations.

Review and send US Customs and Border Protection hold notifications.

Communicate with port agents, terminals, U.S. Customs Officers and customers to coordinate release of cargo.

Correspond with global offices to verify shipment information.

Process changes to the manifest (CTM) and issue Arrival Notices as needed.

Actively seek measures to improve our services, and make recommendations to the management team.

Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications:

4+ years of Customer Service experience or administrative experience OR Bachelor's Degree in any field

Must be willing to train in office and work a hybrid schedule
