　　Job Description

　　Safran Landing Systems' Purchasing department, with a strong international presence, is looking for his/her VIE Machined Parts Buyer (M/F).

　　Attached to the "Landing Gear Integration" purchasing division, within the Toronto purchasing department, you will be in charge of an international supplier portfolio and to support senior buyers on strategic suppliers management.

　　Your mission will include the support on purchasing strategies definition and their application, the management of daily supplier relationship, contract application, lead RFQ, supplier selection processes and negotiations, industrialisaiton projects follow-up, ensure the purchasing productivity performance of the portfolio, and manage the operational aspects of purchasing performance.

　　For this mission, you will have the following responsibilities:

　　• Support the development of existing and new programs (RFQ, support Supplier Selection preparation, ID Suppliers card…)

　　• Achievement of purchasing performance objectives with action plans

　　• Monitor the supplier market & carry out calls for tenders

　　• Follow-up of the end of Contracts with extension / termination plans

　　• Lead negotiations, preparation of supplier selection committees

　　• support the industrialization transfer plans

　　• Purchasing data management (purchasing performance reporting, NRC, Savings vs losses reporting)

　　• Formalize in SAP contracts for new flows or developments

　　• Monitor supplier operational performance (OTD Punctuality/ PPM Quality)

　　• Application of supplier non-performance Liquidated Damages

　　• Compliance of suppliers with purchasing process-documents (GRP's)

　　• Innovation proposals (improvement of processes, tools, methods, etc.) are welcome

　　Job Requirements

　　With a bac+5 level from an Engineering or Business School

　　You are a force of conviction to obtain the adhesion of the interlocutors and have an excellent relational.

　　The position requires significant leadership in order to carry out cross-functional consultations within of the purchasing team, lead the advancement of multifunctional teams and obtain the support of internal teams for the deployment of the purchasing strategy.

　　You are creative and know how to propose savings by value analysis.

　　You know how to work in a network with all the buyers and business partners to optimize the productivity process, including in “Tier 2”.

　　You know how to provide support in the management of supplier crises in connection with SPM functions and Industrial management.

　　You have a good knowledge of purchasing concepts and tools.

　　You have good legal and financial notions.

　　You have a solid industrial and economic vision.

　　You are autonomous and organized.

　　You have a sense of listening and responsibility.

　　You have demonstrated your capacity for analysis and synthesis.

　　You are fluent in English.

　　You are used to working with ERP tools and databases.
