Clerical, Sales Audit and Central Inventory Control (CIC)
Job Description:
Perform audits of P.O.S. activity as part of the Sales Audit Team, who audit all Boscov’s stores for every day of operation.
Identify, research, resolve (when possible) and report store cash discrepancies.
Ensure all out-of-balance transactions are put in balance.
Compare cash and check deposits for accuracy of each store’s daily operation.
Reconcile lottery totals and deposits.
Assistance with the processing of vendor allowances/ad loads and other miscellaneous debits.
Verify the processing of some limited inventory processes against printed reports
Communicate with coworkers while maintaining a professional demeanor on the telephone and through Email.
Perform other duties as required, which may include but are not restricted to, filing, organizing/tracking paperwork.
Required Experience/Skills/Education:
High school diploma or equivalent related experience
Prior retail experience helpful
Computer skills including a working knowledge of Excel
Above average mathematical skills
Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, with excellent time management skills in able to split time working between Sales Audit and CIC while meeting deadlines.
