Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily operations, month-end and year-end closing process.
Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports, especially Head Office reporting (J-GAAP, US-GAAP and Management reporting) and support BNM Statistical Reporting and perform variance analysis.
Handle enquiries from other departments and information request from Head Office.
Participate in advisory, company initiatives and working groups that relates to the finance function.
Maintain good internal control and ensure effectiveness in financial reporting.
Periodic review of workflow process with a view to improve turnaround and productivity.
Keep abreast of accounting standards, policies and ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and relevant standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements:
Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution with professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc).
Minimum 2 year of relevant working experience, preferably in audit and/or banking industry.
Strong PC skill in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Access, Power Point).
A good team player who is meticulous, detail oriented and pro-active.
Strong knowledge of accounting, MFRS and banking regulation.
Good stakeholder management skills.
