　　The anticipated salary range for this role is between $64,000.00 and $80,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. Based in New York City, we are an SEC registered Broker dealer that provides financial products and services to global institutional clients, focusing on North America and Latin America.

　　The Securities Operations Group within SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc. is looking for an Operations Analyst, specializing in customer setup and maintenance. The individual will be primarily responsible for setting up customer accounts in internal systems. While not part of the Client Onboarding group, candidate must be aware of Know-Your-Customer “KYC” and Anti-Money Laundering “AML” concepts concerning customer accounts.

　　Role Objectives

　　Set up and maintain customer information and delivery instructions in back-office systems.

　　Work closely with Middle Office, Client Onboarding, and Settlements departments during initial set up and any follow up on issues and/or escalations that may arise.

　　Provide real time assistance to Middle Office and Settlements departments for timely settlement and reduction of failed trades.

　　Perform testing of various system upgrades and initiatives as necessary.

　　Maintain policy and procedures with respect to daily processes and functions.

　　Perform ad-hoc requests and other duties as assigned.

　　Role Objectives

　　Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

　　High competency in Microsoft Office.

　　Knowledge of Omgeo Alert, Pershing Netx360, Broadridge Impact or Global One is a plus.

　　Experience in Fixed Income and Equity products preferred.

　　Effectively utilize multiple systems to perform required functions and maintain accurate records.

　　Ability to multitask and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment.

　　Flexibility to work an early shift/late shift.
