Basic Function of the Job:
This position is primarily responsible for oversight of efficient and equitable distribution of work to the Claim Operations team, proactive problem resolution, and the delivery of superior customer service.
Major Duties/Responsibilities of the Job:
Communicate and distribute work efficiently and equitably across all units, demonstrating problem solving skills, teamwork, positive behavior and flexibility.Contribute to an environment of continuous improvement by offering ideas and suggestions to streamline current processes to advance efficiency and effectiveness of service.Proactively report trends and/or service issues to the management team to ensure service levels to our customers and business partners are not impacted.Adhere to and comply with Claim Operations Best PracticesBe a positive contributor to the development and performance results of the team.Audit Claim Operations results on a monthly basis based on selected criteria and report results to Supervisor.Audit workgroups and work buckets daily, provide an end of day recap of the work on hand and a snapshot of the daily distribution of work to the Supervisor/Manager.Establish and institute back up plans for coverage and oversight of related job functions when you or team members are out of the office.Oversee, drive and contribute to special projects (e.g. SME) as part of NA Claims transition.Process, manage and investigate Claim related tasks associated with Claim Operations support according to workflow, compliance and regulatory guidelines.QUALIFICATIONS
