JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: SUMMARY Under thegeneral direction of the Senior Quality Assurance Manager, the QualityControl Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely andhigh-performance execution of inspection and validation activities, aswell as the growth and development of people, processes, and systems.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Monitor scheduling and coordinate theactivities of employees who are involved in the inspection andvalidation of product and production documentation based on scheduledcustomer orders, established priorities, and availability and capabilityof personnel. * Determine and monitor capacity requirements for meetinginternal commit dates and customer demand. * Ensure employees havenecessary training, tools, and support to be fully effective in theirpositions. * Develop and sustain an atmosphere that encourages employeeteamwork and participation to exceed customer expectations while drivingcontinuous improvement. * Effectively interact within across-functional team to meet product delivery dates. * Promote qualityachievement and performance improvement throughout the organization. *Set quality compliance objectives and ensure that targets are achieved.* Define, develop, and implement quality procedures to detailoperational steps for effective execution. * Support data flow andidentification on area continuous improvement boards * Support kaizenactivity and related activities *Other duties as required in support ofthe department and the company* SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directlyresponsible for the teams in the respective area. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES,REGISTRATIONS * Certified Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. LANGUAGESKILLS * Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. *Proficient written and verbal communication skills. JOB SKILLS *Experience within the Aerospace Industry with exposure to AS9100 and FAAregulations preferred. * Outstanding organizational skills andexperience with managing multiple deadlines at once. * Strong technicalskills including the ability to read and understand technical drawings.* Proficient in communicating information to individuals and groups inboth written and presentation form. * Strong desire to work in a teammade up of a cross functional group of individuals. * Self-starter thatcan work extended hours as required to satisfy customer deadlines. *Proficient in MS Office * Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred. *Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast paced,constantly changing, and ambiguous environment while maintaining apositive team environment. * Reliable and flexible to work additionalhours on short notice to complete orders and/or special projects to meetcustomer demands. * Understanding and experience in Lean manufacturingenvironment preferred. Participate in continuous improvement projectsand 5S related performance teams.
