Civil Project Engineer- Drinking Water/Reuse | Colorado(In-office/Remote Flexibility)

The Project Engineer will beresponsible for providing water treatment, reuse and optimization solutionsto existing clients while assisting in business development to providehigh-quality deliverables on time and on budget to AE2S clients.
Responsibilities
Provide professional services for water treatment, reuse, and optimizationprojects to include project management, optimization, design, andconstruction administrationProvide client-focused solutions through research, analyses, and deliveryof treatment approaches such as coagulation, flocculation,sedimentation, ozone/UV/Chlorine disinfection, absorption, granularmedia filtration, biological filtration, membrane filtration, etc.Maintain existing client relationships and enhance pursued relationships withclientsIdentify, evaluate, pursue, and manage project opportunitiesProvide quality control and quality assurance on all project workMaintain budgets and schedules of project assignmentsCoordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetingsCollaborate across a multi-disciplinary team
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldRegistration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months4+ years of experience in municipal civil engineering, with a stronginterest in the water market sectorTechnical proficiency in water treatment technology, reuse assessment andmanagement, modeling, and/or design of water treatment plants,pipelines, and pump stationsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to travel as required for project/client responsibilities andbusiness developmentAbility to work remotely and manage projects, clients, and project teammembersKnowledge of design standards and permitting
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering8+ years of experience in municipal water engineering (Drinking Water,Wastewater, Stormwater, Water Resources)Project management experienceKnowledge of project financials & funding programs
