Primary responsibilities include design of process water supply and treatment systems, utilities, wastewater, hydraulics, pipelines, pump stations, and related infrastructure. This includes assisting with preparation of construction documents including plans and specifications and providing assistance with construction administration and commissioning of facilities.Typical projects may include conservation and enhancement hatcheries, research facilities, acclimation facilities, fish passage, fish collection and sorting, and aquaculture water treatment. We are seeking a motivated individual who will go beyond design to develop relationships with existing and potential fishery clients.Interested candidates with general civil, process mechanical or water and wastewater treatment experience will be considered for in-house training in the fisheries discipline.Your Role:
Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses.Assist with preparing detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.Assist with preparing construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.Support development of permitting related documentsUse of standard engineering practices and build documentation for reports and design projects.Assist with evaluating alternatives and resolving technical issues with other engineering disciplines.Participate in design team coordination to perform engineering interpretation of specifications and drawings, and recommending and documenting design modifications.Resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
