  ResponsibilitiesProvides developmentally appropriate clinical care and advocacy for patients and families by applying knowledge and skill that promotes healing, prevents significant developmental disruption, and reduces psychological stress.Job Posting AddendumThis is a Fellow position for a Child Life Specialist who has recently completed an internship. This is a unique position to bridge the transition from student to professional. The schedule will be Tuesday-Saturday from 8:00am-4:30pm. The Fellow will work in both inpatient and outpatient areas to support patients and families.RequirementsRequired Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Child Development or related field.Must obtain Certified Child Life Specialist certification within one year of employment.Completed an internship of a minimum of 600 hours of child life clinical experience under the direct supervision of a Certified Child Life Specialist.Experience working with infants, toddlers, school-age children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.Required Credentials:Must obtain Certified Child Life Specialist certification within one year of employment.Preferred:N/A.Min to Max Hourly Salary$30.37 - $45.55 /hrMin to Max Annual Salary$63,169.60 - $94,744.00 /yrSalary InformationThis compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
