onsemi is looking for a Chief of Staff (CoS) to support the Vice President of Assembly & Test Operations and SiC crystal growth, and accelerate the company’s ongoing transformation. The CoS is a highly visible and critical role within the Manufacturing and Operations group which also includes nine manufacturing sites in Asia and 3 in North America. This is a highly strategic yet facilitative position that requires a combination of focus, flexibility, and breadth of ownership. Requirements will vary as the team executes its mission, and a successful candidate will have leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain or program management to rapidly execute priorities within the organization. Effective teamwork, cross-functional alignment, collaboration and communication are required to excel in this role.

　　The ideal candidate will have an interdisciplinary knowledge of semiconductor technologies (Silicon and Silicon Carbide), Manufacturing and Operations. This strong technical leader will be responsible for the Manufacturing strategic cycle, ensure alignment among the group’s staff and functions, work with strategic projects team on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and deliver C-Suite/Board-level communication. Extensive ability to gain trust and develop executive-level relationships while partnering with key stakeholders is essential to being successful in this position; the CoS will be responsible for driving organizational execution.

　　Responsibilities include the following:

　　Assume responsibility as the single point of contact for cross-functional initiatives within the organization

　　Drive alignment and action across Business Groups and other support functions, such as Sales, Finance, and Legal to drive successful initiatives

　　Lead the annual Manufacturing Strategic Planning cycle

　　Define and maintain organizational goals

　　Lead staff meetings, offsite agendas, and own strategic and cross-functional projects

　　Coordinate preparation of quarterly business reviews

　　Plan and coordinate employee and Board of Director communication

　　Work with the Strategic Projects team on Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures
