　　Seeking a long-term contract / temporary position? Robert Half is doing the hiring process for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Accountant for a rapidly-expanding company. Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, processing expense reports, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Accountant. You will have the opportunity for career growth and advancement within this dynamic department. Based out of the White Bear Township, Minnesota area, the Accounts Payable Accountant will be a long-term contract / temporary opening.

　　Major responsibilities

　　Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

　　Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

　　Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

　　Fulfill full-cycle A/P

　　Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Provide customer service to internal business partners

　　Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

　　Carry out additional tasks as assigned

　　Help with internal and external audits as required

　　Requirements

　　Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

　　Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　General familiarity with bank reconciliations

　　Journal entries experience

　　Month end closings experience

　　Quality experience with Microsoft Excel
