　　Job Description

　　It’s an exciting time to be part of IFF & India Scent Operations. As a Senior Executive - QC, you will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day quality activities of products releases for the scent operations India, The core objective is maintaining end to end documentation related to QMS & GMP by collaborating with all the stakeholders. You are responsible to ensure quality of product & process throughout the scent operation and align with all stakeholders to address the failures interms of internal/external in a timely manner. You will be reporting to Quality Manager.

　　About You:

　　To be successful in this role, you must have M.Sc. in Chemistry (Analytical or Organic preferred). 8+ years’ experience in Fragrance & Flavour / food related industry in quality control.

　　• Reviewing and updating the quality control procedures, standards, and documentation according to the industry best practices and regulations.

　　• Testing and measuring the quality of the raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products.

　　• Monitoring, Inspecting & Auditing the manufacturing process & ensure compliance.

　　• Reporting & recording Non-Conformance, deviations to standards.

　　• Leading & Participating in Root Cause analysis, suggest corrective actions or improvements.

　　• Coordinating with other stakeholders to ensure quality of the product & process throughout the operations.

　　• Coordinating with Suppliers and Customers in understanding their needs and expectations and resolve quality concerns or issues as & when needed.

　　• Spear heading continuous improvement across operations to meet the overall plant KPIs.

　　Leadership & Decision making:

　　• Ability to Influence teams and work in diverse groups of people & roles.

　　• Ability to work independently to manage work progression and time.

　　• Shows initiative beyond the scope of a project/task and makes high--quality decisions.

　　Job Requirements

　　Required Skills:

　　• Requires proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

　　• Working knowledge of SAP, ERP systems.

　　• Excellent communication/listening skills, written and verbal in English. (Tamil / Telugu/ Hindi preferable)

　　• Interpersonal skills & Conflict management skills.

　　• Strong problem solving (7 QC tools), decision making and analytical abilities.

　　• Six Sigma – Green belt will be added advantage.

　　Required Experience:

　　• 8+ years of experience in Fragrance & Flavour / food related industry in the area of QA/QC.
