Position Summary: The CFO at Weis Fire & Safety will be instrumental inoverseeing and managing the financial well-being of our company.Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will lead all financialfunctions, provide strategic financial guidance, and play a vital partin our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy: Develop and implement the financial strategy inalignment with the company\'s business objectives and long-term goals.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, andfinancial planning processes. Provide accurate and timely financialanalysis, including variance analysis, to support decision-making.
Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement risk managementstrategies to safeguard the company\'s financial assets.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports tothe executive team and the board of directors. Ensure compliance withregulatory reporting requirements.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to support day-to-dayoperations and strategic initiatives.
Cost Control: Implement cost control measures to optimize expenses whilemaintaining the quality and efficiency of operations.
Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations,accounting principles, and tax laws. Coordinate with external auditorsas necessary.
Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the financeteam, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with other departments to supporttheir financial needs and provide financial insights to drive businessgrowth.
Mergers and Acquisitions: Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, orinvestment opportunities and lead the financial due diligence process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA orCPA preferred.
Proven experience as a finance leader, preferably in a manufacturing orindustrial setting.
Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
Excellent understanding of financial regulations and accountingprinciples.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
