Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in the agriculture industry within the Visalia, California location. This role involves supporting both the company and its accounting department with tasks such as processing accounts payables, assisting with reconciliations, handling general ledger tasks, entering reports, and data input into the company's system.

Responsibilities:

• Processing accounts payables efficiently

• Assisting with account reconciliations

• Handling tasks related to the general ledger

• Entering reports as required

• Inputting data into the company's system

• Engaging in heavy data entry tasks daily

• Taking appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Processing customer credit applications

• Resolving customer credit inquiries Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Billing Functions

• Ability to handle Cash Activity in an agricultural setting.
