CHC Addiction Services is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction.

　　We are current looking for a highly motivated and detail oriented Chief Financial Officer. The CFO will be responsible for all fiscal obligations including overseeing the capital structure of the agency, strategic planning and executing appropriate financial initiatives in regards to the day-to-day operation of the agency.  As part of the executive team, the CFO will be called on to provide insight and recommendations to the CEO concerning the financial wellbeing and growth of the agency.  The CFO must ensure that the agency remains in compliance with all local, state, federal and funder standards and will prepare all budgets and financial statements for the CEO and board; monitor and recommend employee benefit plans and insurance policies; monitor all contracts; approve expenditures; and oversee the staff salary budgets and pay increases. The CFO must ensure that appropriate internal accounting processes are in place and well-executed and develop a strong comprehension of the mission of the agency in order to link daily activities of the finance department to the mission. A successful candidate for this position should have: a Bachelor's Degree, a current CPA license and at least 3 years' experience in a high level fiscal position.  Should have knowledge of financial and computer systems and have experience in non-profit financing and accounting.  Must also have excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills, a strong work ethic with a drive to succeed, strong attention to detail, effective organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
