　　Job Title: Temp Mains Electrician

　　CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Temp Mains Electrician.

　　Purpose of the Job

　　In this role you will work as an Electrician within the Mains Services team installing all temporary IT services in preparation for live events and exhibitions. Working in a dynamic environment you will have excellent Health and Safety awareness and be comfortable communicating with colleagues and customers, maintaining a professional approach. All services are required to be ‘pulled in’, tested, and ‘pulled out’ after each event or exhibition, to challenging timescales.

　　You will work under the leadership of a Team Leader on the delivery of the event services, and you will be working as part of a wider team to ensure timely delivery of these services across the venue. Working in this team, you will also become familiar with the other areas of the Technical Events Team in preparation of the site for Events and Exhibitions.

　　This role will require a flexible approach and positive attitude. Including flexible shift patterns on an ‘Annualised Hours’ Contract.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　Planninga) You will be reliable and have excellent planning and organisational skills.

　　Administrationa) You will be able to ensure all tasks are documented in accordance with CBRE Managed

　　Services procedures and policies, with a combination of paper forms and electronic software.

　　b) Computer Literacy is essential as you will be trained to input records into site specific programs.

　　Compliancea) Ensure all works are undertaken according to CBRE Managed Services policies and

　　procedures.

　　Health & Safetya) Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are adhered to for all tasks carried out

　　and ensure safe working practices.

　　b) Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all

　　Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working

　　arrangements, as required.

　　Generala) Ensure a professional image of CBRE Managed Services is presented to clients and visitors;

　　and ensure excellence in customer service is always delivered and promoted.

　　b) Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal

　　development and life-long-learning.

　　c) You may be required to carry out any additional tasks as requested by the Technical Events

　　Manager and Supervisors, including assisting other areas of the CBRE Managed Services

　　contract.

　　Skills and Experience (Desirable)

　　a) NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations

　　b) City & Guilds 18th Edition

　　c) City & Guilds 2330 / 2360 Level 3 or equivalent.

　　d) Organised and disciplined approach to work giving careful attention to detail.

　　e) Computer literate – Word, Excel, Outlook.

　　f) Fork-Lift Driving Licence
