　　IBM System Storage DS8000 is a high-performance, high-capacity series of disk storage that supports continuous operations. This is an opportunity for a talented Test Developer to join the growing IBM DS8000 Systems Assurance teams in changing the world. The ideal candidate is a technophile who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about learning new tools and technologies, and is comfortable interacting with internal and external clients.

　　Job Duties:

　　As Software Test Developer focusing on IBM DS8000, you will contribute to the test and support of a state-of-the-art cluster file system geared towards High Performance Computer (HPC), Cloud, Big Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning workloads. DS8000 is deployed in many of the world's largest commercial deployments. You will work closely with Development to ensure critical software and hardware functions are thoroughly tested and validated using both automated and manual testing techniques.

　　Required Technical and Professional Expertise

　　Required Professional and Technical Expertise :

　　English proficiency

　　Experience with Software testing (Test planning, test execution, defect tracking)

　　Experience with Test automation (Python, JavaScript, Java, or bash)

　　Experience with Storage concepts or IBM System Storage

　　Experience with Infrastructure configuration, management, and troubleshooting

　　Experience with RHEL/Linux OS, system configuration, and administration

　　Experience with Virtualization (VMware)

　　Experience with Agile processes and tools

　　Strong communication skills and ability to work in small teams with testers and developers

　　Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

　　Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise :

　　Experience with IBM POWER processor technology

　　Experience with Agile Software Development and Test.

　　Experience with continuous integration tools.

　　Experience with Cloud technology (Containers, Kubernetes and Ansible OpenShift).

　　Experience with Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Robot.

　　Experience with networking and Internet technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP.
