Job Description:
As Development Chapter Leader, you blend deep Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Analytics, Data Governance & Compliance, Reporting and BI Tools expertise with a passion for coaching and developing people. You are laser focused on providing value to our clients and owning the overall stability, strategy and vision of the platform. In an agile format and structure, you will partner with other leaders to establish the standards for your chapter are, influence the strategic decisions and solution development based on your expertise and experience, and directly lead a group of chapter leaders that oversee chapter members working on squads within one or more product areas. You will actively bring in new ideas and approaches to improve the work and develop new skills and capabilities in your Chapter to enable associate growth while adding greater value to the work of the Product and Squads. You are committed to maintaining and developing your own expertise and knowledge to bring the latest thinking to your role and empower others with that knowledge both internally and externally.
The Team
You will lead a team of data engineers, BI and API developers, and work in partnership with product leaders supporting all business units for the FBT/FI Data Platform Solutions Domain. By role modeling and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you will create and sustain an innovative agile culture.
The Expertise You Have
4-year degree in Computer Science or other equivalent education10+ years of relevant experience leading large, complex organizationsExperience working with AWS, Exadata, ETL technologies (Informatica, snaplogic) and machine learningExperience leading, coaching, and developing people and teamsExperience with identifying talent needs; recruiting and onboarding; strategic resource planning and talent allocation within and across large organizationsFinancial services experience preferred, but not requiredSolid understanding and experience with Agile principles.
