Robert Half is partnering with a local non-profit to find a CFO. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a pivotal role in the real estate development industry, focusing on project finance and non-profit field operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the financial management of the company, its subsidiaries, and managed companies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial management of the company, its subsidiaries, and managed companies, ensuring coordination among organizational goals, long-range financial planning, and daily financial functioning.

• Establish and maintain appropriate controls to ensure internal and external compliance as required.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and recording of accounting data in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

• Manage operating cash flows and treasury management policies.

• Oversee preparation of interim and year-end financial statements for the company and subsidiaries, including consolidated financial statements.

• Prepare fiscal reports, financial plans, and forecasts, including annual budgets and cash flow projections.

• Direct and provide support to the department employees in the planning and execution of audits and ensure that the accounting process is current and can accommodate timely completion.

• Oversee all areas of property portfolio accounting.

• Oversee financial management software systems, procurement, and training.

• Develop and implement accounting, administrative and fiscal policies, and procedures, ensuring that they are effective and adhered to by supervising, instructing, and training Accounting Department staff.

• Attend Board of Director meetings and facilitate the Audit and Finance Committee meetings including scheduling and minutes preparation.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions.

• Experience with Budget Processes.

• Knowledge in Capital Management.

• Ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is an advantage.

Requirements

• Must possess 10 or more years of experience in a similar CFO role

• Should be proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Must have a thorough understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Budget Processes is required

• Knowledge of Capital Management is essential

• Ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis is mandatory

• Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification

• Strong strategic planning and business development skills

• Exceptional leadership and management abilities

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills

• Knowledge of financial legislation and regulations

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
