Description If you're an experienced accountant with a knack for accuracy, there's currently an opening through Robert Half for Staff Accountant at a growing Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance firm. Set in the Fort Worth, Texas area, the company offering this short-term contract / temporary opportunity encourages innovation and rewards effort in the work place. Responsibilities held by the Staff Accountant include the preparation of monthly and year-end closings, journal entries, fixed asset maintenance, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation. This position will require a fair amount of time dedicated to producing Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. During the monthly close, you'll also be charged with various aspects of internal reporting. You'll also review schedules for the reporting processes, stay in touch with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and play an active role in compliance.

　　Responsibilities

　　Oversee the creation of monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for reporting to management

　　Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested

　　Execute month end close, journal entries, with little supervision

　　Organize capital lease and monthly payment schedules

　　Help with the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Offer succinct analysis on a wide variety of financial data and communicate it in a clear and concise manner

　　Carry out fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation

　　Ready complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll

　　Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments

　　Partake in annual closing processes Requirements - Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　Experience with Bank Deposit

　　Microsoft Excel experience desired

　　General familiarity with billing

　　Microsoft Excel experience required

　　Adeptness in Cash Deposits

　　Demonstrated knowledge of Credit Card Deposits

　　Foundational knowledge in Deposits

　　Journal Entry experience

　　High attention to detail

　　Experience with ERP systems

　　Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

　　Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

　　Recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

　　Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
