Unloads freight as shipmentsarrive into department. Applies patient charge tags correctly and stocksshelves according to item number. Fills store requisitions and productrequests from departments. Periodically cleans shelves and monitorsexpiration dates of products to ensure a safe and clean department.Provides customer service to others entering department. Sorts anddistributes incoming mail among departments and staff. Assists withmaintaining established departmental policies and procedures for qualityimprovement, safety, and infection control standards.
