LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is currently seeking an individual to join our team as aCellular Therapies Logistics ManagerinGainesville, FL. This position is responsible for the oversight of all cord blood and cellular therapy logistics, including purchasing and billing, supplies inventory management, product inventory management and movement, records, communications and compliance with applicable regulations. This position must ensure the distribution of safe and potent cord blood units (CBUs) and cellular therapy products in compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements. This position will provide high level customer service to vendors and customers and ensure contract obligations are met.

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to)
Ensure department provides high level customer service to both internal and external customers.
Communicate regularly with the Director of Cellular Therapies about daily activities, reportable events, staffing issues, customer complaints, customer requests, status of shipments and open Purchase Orders.
Represent and communicate LifeSouth and its subsidiaries (i.e., StemVivo) favorably to the public and to participating institutions.
Track and trend data and provide standard daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on time. Provide custom reports in a timely manner as requested.
Work on special projects as assigned.
Maintain ongoing communication with the Medical Office to help maintain active research projects or help establish new research opportunities.
May be expected to work various hours, which may include overtime and/or working weekends as needed.
Transport products and supplies to and from distribution centers, as needed.
Travel may be required for this position.
Must have consistent and reliable transportation.
Attendance is a requirement of this position.
Minimum Qualifications
Three years of supervisory experience in distribution or supply-chain environment required
Bachelors degree required
Valid driver's license. Must also meet and maintain LifeSouth driver's eligibility requirements
Knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations related to confidentiality and privacy of personal information, including health information.
Ability to take initiative and assist in developing departmental policies, procedures and projects
Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments concurrently
Ability to effectively participate in a stress-filled and time-critical team environment
Ability to prepare concise and informative reports
Ability to work with confidential records and maintain confidentiality of these materials
Ability to fill out and maintain records in accordance with applicable policies and regulatory standards.
Ability to analyze, think critically, and make decisions consistent with SOP and regulatory guidelines.
Ability to learn and effectively utilize office, management and blood banking software
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
Degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain or rel vant field preferred
Previous blood banking experience preferred
