The CDL Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operationof rear load, front load, side load, and roll off trucks, whileproviding prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services forcustomers on designated routes within the Burlington, South Burlington,Williston, Essex Junction, Georgia, Milton, St. Albans and Colchester VTmarket areas. The Driver safely maneuvers assigned vehicle inresidential or commercial environments; navigates high traffic andcongested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots and providesexcellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Performs pre/post trip inspections of assigned vehicle in accordancewith Casella safety standards as well as state and federalregulations; maintains appearance of truck in accordance withcompany standards.Provides a distinguishably different level of service throughcourteous interactions with all customers and provides service in atimely manner.Completes all assigned company and federally mandated paperworkaccurately.Completes assigned route sheet for one Line of Business (LOB).Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs andmeetings as required by Casella or Manager.Notifies Dispatch of any service interruptions, incidents,accidents, property damage, or unsafe situations; exhibits anability to be observant and aware of all surroundings at all times.Education, Experience Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, must beat least 18 years of age, hold a valid Class A or B CDL License and mustbe legally eligible to work in the United States. The physical abilityto handle objects more than 50lbs frequently throughout the day and workunder many different weather conditions is expected.

This position requires successful completion of pre-employmenttesting, including a drug screen.
