Responsibilities
Create and maintain contact with client representatives from the catering event and work with all event vendors, including the florist and rental company
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of assigned catering events.
Establish event objectives with the client and develop a plan to achieve these goals.
Partner with the catering team associates to ensure a smooth and successful event.
Coordinate with chefs and bar to ensure that food and beverage service is seamless.
Always provide the highest quality of service to the customer. Quick and timely responses to all calls, emails and leads (no later than 24 hours).
Create event orders (BEOs) with all set up and food and beverage requirements needed for group.
Maintain accurate information and revenues are always input into the system to ensure accurate forecasting.
Create and maintain neatly organized files with all required and appropriate information.
Provide operational support during events, attend walkthroughs and calls with internal and external clients.
Provide Event Recap and share operation and production suggestions to the team.
Maintain a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management in accordance with company values.
Any other duties or activities set forth by immediate supervisor and any other leadership position.
Qualifications
Customer service experience is required
Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office and ability to learn and operate Caterease
Work effectively under pressure and produce accurate results
Effective problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
Minimum of 1 year of experience in event management or planning preferred
Physical Requirements
