Job Description
Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking aCatering & Conference Services Manager for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

The Catering & Conference Services Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of catering and conference services for Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. This role encompasses servicing both corporate catering and small conference services groups. It requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a dedication to providing exceptional service to clients and guests.
Responsibilities
Event Planning and Coordination:
Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
Create and manage detailed event plans, including banquet and catering menus, room setups, audiovisual equipment, timelines , and estimates .
Coordinate all aspects of the event once the contract has been signed for both corporate catering and small conference groups.
Be onsite point of contact when group arrives or when event takes place to ensure event kicks off successfully.
Collaborate with all hotel departments including but not limited to culinary, banquets, rooms, and engineering to aid in the proper execution of the detailed event plans.
Review final billing to ensure accuracy.
Client Relations:
Represent our luxury brand by ensuring customer and overall event satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and small conference groups, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Provide prompt and professional responses to inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred but not required )
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
